Initial Narrative: On June 12th, 2024, I was assigned to work speed enforcement on Watt Street. I was sitting at Cargill at 331 S. Watt St, and using my department issued laser unit S/N# UX019164. I lased a white Jeep Grand Cherokee (OH Reg#HGQ4070), which was heading north past my cruiser. I checked the speed of the vehicle at 40mph in a 25mph zone. I initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and advised the driver, Jennifer Lagore, of the violation. Jennifer was issued a citation for speed. She was given a court date of June 17th, 2024.

Upon arrival, I made contact with the caller, Jeffery Meyers. Jeffery said he spoke to Robert Bennett earlier in the day and hesaid he was going to cut his wrist. Jeffery said he then started walking over to Robert’s home to check on him. Jeffrey said when he arrived, Robert was not answering his door but knew he was inside the shed where he stays at times. I also knocked on the door multiple times announcing who I was with no answer.
