EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) El Paso has released a list of road closures for April 13, which could affect your commute.
I-10 Widening West
Saturday, April 13 at 9 p.m., through Monday, April 15, at 6 a.m.
Westbound I-10 will be closed between David Road and Vinton Road.
North Desert Boulevard will be reduced to one lane at Los Mochis Drive.
DETOUR: Continue on North Desert Boulevard, re-enter I-10 past Vinton Road.
Crews will be placing bridge decks.
Beginning Sunday, April 14 until further notice.
The West to East turnaround at Redd Road will be closed.
DETOUR: Turn left at Redd Road and turn left on South Desert Boulevard.
Crews will be beginning Phase 5 construction work.
Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24, from 9 p.m. 5 a.m.
Westbound I-10 Artcraft Road exit ramp will be closed.
DETOUR: Take Exit 9 (Redd Road) onto North Desert Boulevard.
Crews will be placing concrete pavement.
ADVANCE NOTICE:
Friday, April 26 at 9 p.m. through Monday, April 29 at 6 a.m.
Eastbound and westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between Redd Road and Artcraft Road.
Redd Road will be closed in both directions underneath the I-10 mainlanes.
West to East and East to West turnarounds will be closed at Redd Road.
DETOUR: Westbound traffic will continue on North Desert Boulevard and use Artcraft Road. Eastbound traffic will continue on South Desert Boulevard and use Mesa Street.
Crews will be demolishing part of the Redd Road overpasses to prepare them for widening.
I-10 Mill and Inlay Project
Friday, April 12 at 9 p.m. through Monday, April 15 at 6 a.m. (Continuous)
Full I-10 West main lane closure at Sunland Park Dr, detour using CD lanes at exit 13 toward Sunland Park Dr/ Resler; Eastbound not affected.
Crews will be working on Mill & Inlay.
Monday, April 15, Tuesday, April 16, Wednesday, April 17 from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Alternate lane closure Eastbound I-10 at Mesa Street toward Sunland Park Drive/ Resler; westbound not affected.

Traffic Signal Improvements Project
Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mesa north and southbound at Resler intersection right lane closed.
Mesa north and southbound at Camille intersection right lane closed.
Montana east and westbound at McRae intersection right lane closed.
Crews will be working on intersection improvements.
Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Gateway East and West at Paisano intersection alternate lane closures.
North Lee Trevino between Trawood and Montwood alternate lane closures.
Crews will be working on traffic signal improvements.

I-10 westbound at Trowbridge overpass closed.
Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
I-10 eastbound at Trowbridge overpass closed.
Crews will be cleaning, sealing, and repairing armor joints.
DETOUR: both nights traffic will be exited at Trowbridge, where officers will direct them through the intersections.

Monday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Paisano entrance ramp to I-10 West closed.
US-54 southbound at Ramp D left lane closed.
Tuesday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
I-10 westbound between Hawkins and Airway right lane closed.
I-10 westbound between Viscount and Hawkins entrance ramps closed.
Wednesday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
I-10 westbound between Mesa Park and Sunland Park right lane closed.
Crews will be working on guardrail repairs.

Mesa north and southbound between Executive and Sunland Park alternate lane closures.
Crews will be boring for electrical conduit, pouring drill shaft foundations, potholing, and installing new lighting poles.

US-54 North between Alameda and Yandell left lane closed.

Montana Avenue (US 62/180) eastbound frontage road left lane closure between Dominican Street to Leticia Street.
Crews will be hauling dirt from jobsite.
Purple Heart Widening
Monday, April 1 through Tuesday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Daily)
Purple Heart Highway (SL 375) north and southbound left inside lane closure between Montana Avenue and Spur 601.
Crews will be hauling out material in and out of the median.
Loop 375 Widening
Monday, April 15, through Friday, April 19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Nightly)
Americas Highway (SL 375) south and northbound main lane closure between North Loop Overpass and Zaragoza (P.O.E) Overpass.
Zaragoza, Pan American and South Americas Truck (P.O.E) and North Loop Underpass alternating complete closures.
Crews will be working on installing bridge structures, bridge deck, and concrete barriers.
Landscaping Project
Friday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Daily)
IH-10 east and westbound alternating entrance, exit ramps and shoulder closures will occur at Eastlake Boulevard.
Crews will be installing conduit and drilling light pole foundations.
