How much is the ticket for the Alaska State Fair? ›

Fair attendance and concert ticket sales both continued an upward trend in 2023, with attendance growing by nearly 5 percent and concert sales increasing by 7 percent. Fair attendance grew from 340,000 in 2022 to 356,179 in 2023.

The Alaska State Fair is packed with fun events throughout the 14 days. The fair is open from 11 a.m. 10 p.m. There are daily concerts scattered throughout the fairgrounds, performances by local dance groups, talent shows, Alaska Native dancers and similar events. All of these are free with fair admission.

Once at the Fair there are four entrance gates. Three gates, the Purple, Red and Yellow, have parking areas. The fourth, the Green Gate, serves as a drop-off and pick-up zone, and as the depot for the Fair Train.

Take the Fair Train to the Alaska State Fair and save on fuel, parking and headaches. Avoid traffic jams and enjoy a scenic and relaxing ride aboard one of our comfortable coaches.
